Greetings!
It's been a while! but, to the point: I established a Submission limit of 1 per week for Members, and 1 per day for Contributors! That's because there is too much input to handle, and too much overload in watcher's inboxes. I hope you understand; and rest assured, DA's system automatically tells you when you are over the limit, so you don't have to worry about when the week is over, and such :D

IN A COMPLETELY UNRELATED NOTE:

Check this AWESOME trailer (not about Robots per sé, but there's a bunch of them around 2:20 you should check out!) :

I never got this awesomefied for an Anime in almost a Decade.

Hi there. I'm typing this because there is a Kickstarter project in need of funding, and I was wondering if anyone here is interested in helping it out.

A group in Boston, Massachusetts is currently trying to get funds to build a robot called the Blabdroid. The Blabdroid, from what the Kickstarter Page said, is a small robot camera with a customizable personality. You can control the robot with your phone, and it is compatible with all currently-existing apps, so you can use it to do things like play your music, and make videos of you.

The project needs $75,000.00 in order to be funded, and needs to reach this goal by June 2nd at 2:47am EDT. As of this post, it currently has $6,117.00.

Maybe this is a bit of a stretch, but I feel I should hep this project get some support now. If you would like to see more of the project, here is a link to the Kickstarter page.

By the way, I apologize if I seemed weird by just up and asking yo uthis just completely out of the blue, or presumptuous by assuming you would help to fund this simply because you're a group dedicated to robots. I mean, sure, I could just post a journal entry or something, but that doesn't seem to be working on my end. Still, sorry if I seemed weird or presumptuous.

That said, let me know what you think of the project once you see the links, if you would anyway.

Hi there. I'm typing this because there is something on Kickstarter I was wondering if you would be interested in.

On Kickstarter, a group of people are currently trying to build a fleet of robots known as "Coral-bots", the function of which will be to traverse ocean floors and transplant healthy pieces of coral into damaged coral reefs.

The project needs $107,000.00 in order to be completed. They need the money in order to give their robots "eyes" that allow them to see healthy pieces of coral, and arms with which they can transplant the coral. They need to reach the goal by May 27th at 6:13am EDT. As of this post, the project has $26,921.00.

I thought I would find groups here on DA who display an interest in robots and let them know about this project, as I believe they would most likely be interested in seeing this project get funded. If you would like to see more of the project, here is a link to the Kickstarter page.

By the way, I apologize if I seemed weird by just up and showing you this out of the blue. I was wondering if you would be interested. Sure, I could just post a journal entry about it, but I don't think the people I want to reach would see it. Still, apologies if I seemed weird.

That said, let me know what you think of this project once you see the link, if you would anyway. I also hope you consider funding this project.

I just recently posted my Sigma X1 gps into this group, still in review... but I just wanted to let you know that even though I actually tried to get it into the Robot FanArt folder, but somehow it wasn't letting me, I mean the option to do it was not there. Plus the folder itself couldn't be full already could it? Or do you guys do the arrangements and placements?
